Registered Nurse · Healthcare Leader · Patient Advocate
Over a decade of clinical experience, a master's in healthcare administration, and one unwavering belief — that people deserve care that actually sees them.
About Me
I became a nurse because I wanted to help people — not in the abstract, but in the room, in the moment, when it mattered most. What I didn't expect was that nursing would also teach me how broken so many of our systems are, and how much I wanted to fix them.
Over the past ten years I've worked in cardiology, pulmonology, and progressive care, eventually stepping into ambulatory leadership at Novant Health. I earned my Master's in Healthcare Administration from Queen's University of Charlotte not to leave nursing behind, but to understand it at a systems level — so I could advocate more effectively for patients and the nurses caring for them.
I'm also a certified integrative health practitioner, which means I bring a whole-person lens to everything I do — whether that's supporting a patient, building a care process, or working with a team on the edge of burnout.
"I want to help people. That's always been the whole point."

Accomplishments & Impact
A resume tells you where I've been. This is what I actually built, changed, and made better along the way.
Ambulatory Leadership · Novant Health
As RN Ambulatory Specialty Lead, I bridge clinical excellence and operational efficiency across specialty departments — supporting nurses, aligning workflows, and advocating for both staff and patient needs at the system level.
Clinical Education & Process Improvement
Throughout my career I've identified gaps in care delivery, developed educational resources for nursing staff, and led process improvement efforts that reduced friction and improved outcomes — not because it was in my job description, but because patients deserved better.
Graduate Work · Queen's University of Charlotte
Completed my MHA with a focus on healthcare systems, policy, and organizational leadership — bringing a strategic lens to a clinical foundation and deepening my ability to advocate for change within complex systems.
Integrative Health · University of Arizona
Certified in Integrative Health practices, bringing evidence-informed approaches to wellness, nervous system regulation, and burnout recovery — both in patient care and through The Quiet Glow.
Interim Leadership · COVID-19 Pandemic Response
During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I stepped into an interim ADON role at a dedicated COVID hospital — a facility built from the ground up to manage crisis-level patient volume at the most uncertain moment in modern healthcare history. Over six months, I owned the full hiring pipeline for ancillary staff: sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding CNAs and unit secretaries across a workforce of 100+ employees. I also managed the master schedule for the entire team, ensuring adequate coverage during a period when staffing shortages, rapid census changes, and staff illness made every shift a moving target. Leading through that environment — with urgency, calm, and accountability — is something no credential can fully capture.
Digital Health & Innovation
Actively engaged in the intersection of nursing leadership and health tech — with a focus on clinical implementation, care model innovation, and utilization management in digital-first healthcare environments.
Beyond the Bedside
I started The Quiet Glow because I know what burnout feels like from the inside. Not the kind you read about in a policy memo — the kind that makes you question why you became a nurse in the first place.
The Quiet Glow is an integrative wellness brand for nurses. Science-backed, soul-led, and rooted in the belief that the people caring for everyone else deserve to be cared for too.
